Catherine Doak brings our print advertising ideas together through the computer keyboard from layout to the pre-press production stage.

She does it all...translating innovative designs to create montages, retouching photographs and adding the special effects that allow the ads and literature for our clients to stand out in a crowd.

Catherine has a degree in Fine Arts and Graphic Design from the University of Tennessee, and worked with Reed Advertising in 1987 through 1988 until she got married and moved to Nashville. While there, she worked for Saturn as an Art Director.

Catherine began her career as a designer before the advent of the computer so she possesses all of the traditional skills of an artist. She was one of the first designers in East Tennessee to utilize the computer for 100% of her work. Over the years, Catherine has expanded her skills with a variety of essential computer applications, such as, QuarkXPress, Freehand and Adobe Photoshop.

Catherine has designed and coordinated projects from multiple-page brochures to complex trade show booth designs to magazine ads. Having returned to Knoxville, she has once again become an integrated part of Reed Advertising.
