A new brand of advertising

In 1985, Jim Reed founded Reed Advertising with a commitment to building the best brands in the market. And his company has not disappointed. Right out of the box, Reed Advertising began working on serious branding initiatives from introducing the first ski boat from Sea Ray to molding UT's night courses into a spectacular "Night People" image that won the praise of the Secretary of Education.

"Creativity is a means of solving problems" is a phrase Reed often refers to when selling new ideas from the agency. It is not rocket science. But, it is a science—the science of building solid branding programs from start-up companies to Fortune 500 corporations.

Today, Reed Advertising has as diverse a clientele as any agency in the Southeast. It is not uncommon to find Reed employees visiting a corrugating box company. Or an RV trade show in Louisville. If it takes flying to Las Vegas to learn about automotive thermostats, Reed Advertising is there.
